Clark Grue is the President & CEO of the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre (CTCC) and Meetings + Conventions Calgary (MCC). A passionate promoter of Calgary and Canada; he is leading the CTCC team to build on the centre’s reputation as a world-class innovative centre for connecting people and ideas.

Mr. Grue co-founded Rainmaker Global Business Development Inc. in 2007, where he assisted public and private companies in their quest for sustainable business development, economic growth and diversification around the world.

Prior to launching Rainmaker, Clark served as Vice President, Investment and Trade with Calgary Economic Development. Previously, he established and led the British Government’s Trade Office in Calgary, the first of its kind in the world.

In November 2017, Clark was elected as Vice-Chair of the Meetings Mean Business Canada Board; an advocacy group for the Canadian Business Events Industry, which contributes over $27 billion CAD in GDP annually and sustains over 341,000 full-time jobs. Clark is also Vice Chair of the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada, representing Canada on the B20 Trade & Investment Taskforce for the G20 Summit and he is a member of the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Management at the University of Lethbridge.
