Born and raised in the NWT, is a member of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation. Once completed university in Alberta Greg returned home to the NWT. Greg started in the mining industry as a community relations/workforce Development position with Diavik Diamond Mines.

Greg went on to successfully manage a tourism Hunting and fishing lodge in the NWT where the focus was building on Authentic Aboriginal experiences.

He was involved with starting a new tourism business in the NWT called North Star Adventures with his brother Joe Bailey. Today the company has grown into a very successful Aboriginal Authentic Adventure company that focuses on Aboriginal Tourism and Aurora Borealis viewing.

The Aboriginal Sport Circle of the NWT is where Greg has spent most of his time, it was here that he built an organization that is community focused and relationships were strengthened

Greg started working at Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association and is Responsible for developing a cultural tourism strategy in alignment with TOTA’s Embracing Our Potential and Aboriginal Tourism Association of British Columbia’s The Next Phase plans. Embracing a rich history filled with traditional stories and beliefs, the endeavor is to develop economic opportunities and progress Aboriginal tourism business within the region.
